The worst ever!

Pros

There are some great employees

Cons

Owners play favorites. Seem to be stuck in the class system. This company uses people until they no longer need you and then gets rid of them. Upper property management is scared of losing their positions. This definitely trickles down to employees

Pros

Flexible hours. The company is relatively small so you get to be hands on and learn a lot.

Cons

Unprofessional management team. Not reward the good employees enough.

Pros

You get good hotel discounts… if you ever get a day off to use them.

Cons

You’ll work long hours for low pay. They’ll take away bonuses without notice. You won’t be trained to do your job. You’ll be expected to do other’s jobs. You’ll be gaslit by your manager. The management will demean you, tell you to put on makeup, break Marriott policies and make excuses for breaking those policies, and instigate drama and pick favorites. No vertical movement available in Food and Beverage. Everything is about cutting costs. Not about the guest or employee experience. Of course there’s a business to run, and costs cannot be ignored, but you won’t make ANY money if you treat guests like a burden and employees like slaves. If you get injured at work, expect your manager to ignore your workers comp request and give you excuses for everything. If you need to use the bathroom while at work, expect your manager to roll their eyes at you. That’s the culture. If you work for NewcrestImage on a salaried basis: congrats! You have no life anymore, aside from your 80-hour work weeks.
