Pros

A good place to stay if you have no ambitions and only want to get by with your life without achieving much.

Cons

- Management team is myopic and does not know what it wants to achieve. Work is planned to achieve short-term goals but tend to go through many changes (including to initial versions) simply because the Management is clueless. - HR only cares about saving cost, meeting budget, pleasing the Management, and has no regard for employees. Unsafe working conditions are spotted in some parts of the office and nothing much was done to rectify issues despite having alerting the team for months. Poor employee benefits. - Many ex-OpenNet employees (who remain in NetLink Trust) claim to possess much working knowledge are merely empty vessels and just want to get by. - Working teams like to waste time in unproductive meetings. No conclusion/decision made despite many rounds of meetings which could span over various months. - Meetings are dominated by those who are the loudest, not by those who have actual knowledge/contributions. - Claims to be separate from Singtel, but many working decisions just can't get away from being influenced by Singtel's culture and way of working.

Pros

Nothing good to say about Fac. and Colo.

Cons

I have worked for many years. Facility and Colocation department worst department I have ever worked. There are many projects that were very delayed because of the super high turnovers there. The staff there typical leave in a few months and many staff left even before confirmation. Staff worked very long hours, typically 12-14 hours daily and also worked for many hours on weekends. Some staff developed mental issues there while others left without a job. I have worked long hours in my previous work (14 hours, 7 days a week) but for a period of time (2 months). However, to work for 14 hours daily throughout the year is not reasonable. Department head is totally unsympathetic towards the hardworking staff. He has no concern for the welfare of the staff but sets deadline that can only be met by working long hours. The department head has high IQ but zero EQ. Department meetings are scolding sessions on why work progress are slow. He does not take in suggestions and also does not admit mistakes. People work for a living, not to sell their lives to Netlink. Should have check glassdoor before joining Netlink.

Pros

Has DND, Family day, fruits day and pays fairly good variable bonus compared to other local companies. Good place to stay if u just wanna take instructions and don't mind doing manual work.

Cons

THE HR DEPARTMENT The entire team of HR is very unprofessional. They are basically rude and disregard the feelings of their staff. They are also really petty on the pantry beverages. Always out of stock. WASTAGE OF RESOURCES A lot of staff can be seen idling, watching videos on their smartphones, some playing games on their desktop, buffing their nails at their seats. Management is too lenient with the staff who is not performing. Management realised the problem but he/ she was not being let go and continue to be a burden to the rest of the dept. A total waste of company resources to keep incapable staff !!! Promotions were based on seniority instead of staff's capability. SYSTEMS Old school system which is incapable in catering to the company's needs. A lot of manual work has to be done. P.S Totally agree from the previous review that majority of the ex-Opennet staff who are still in the company after merger, often thinks highly of themselves when they are only empty vessels. They only talk to you when they have an agenda in mind.
