Pros

The lower level people are really fun to work with. Lots of creative minds working together. It makes for interesting conversations and work days. Sometimes if you do a really outstanding job, they give you a $10 gift card to Wegman's. There are often amusing photos being made. The products are fun. Somehow they manage to keep a small core of really dedicated employees. It's located near the McCormick factory, so outside always smells good.

Cons

Given the physical demands of the production workers, pay is shockingly low. Morale is hard to maintain when upper management is driving high end cars, but regular employees struggle to survive on $9 an hour. The high turnover rate is alarming (not just seasonal employees) and speaks to lack of proper leadership and direction. It's hard to respect someone bellowing "COCKTAILS!" during busy times rather than showing warmth. Additionally, those "cocktails" are simply caffeinated beverages.

Pros

will give you all the hours you want...until busy season is over. Most co-workers are great folks.

Cons

After the busy season is over they will send you home early to save on payroll. They promote people to management positions with little or no training or management skills. Hire seasonal personnel of poor quality who damage infrastructure, steal and have no training. "If they can breath and stand up we will hire them". Trust no one in a supervisory or management position. They would eat their young if they thought it would get them ahead. They are given free rein until the exodus of good employees is epidemic and then they are fired. Good managers and directors are let go or leave because the expertise they have been hired for is ignored or their plans don't show results as fast as management wants.

Pros

I am impressed with what they have done to grow the business and employees, especially during corona. Hey we still have a job (unlike most of my friends and family) and we recently were given increases which was appreciated during a time like this. Everyone I know is unemployed or furloughed but these guys seem to be growing and hiring.

Cons

Hours go up and down depending on the time of year. It would be nice if more consistent but that is just their business.
