      a bit more money as in medical device industry, but the lowest upon pharma companies

      Cons

      not follow cGMP, hiding things is their best value, very toxic environment, FDA should really do a proper check on this company based in Galway, Ireland

      Pros

      There are no outstanding pros to describe work in this company. Some members of the staff (in this particular site) are really professional and helpful which makes work pleasant.

      Cons

      Not enough training provided to employees on new processes. No well defined/clear/transparent career progression. Poor management. New processes implemented prior process design. Hight re-work level of administrativetasks. Uneven workload. No consistent continuous improvement culture. No Lean culture. Some manufacturing areas demonstrate a non desired application of quality culture (Quality vs. Output).

      Pros

      Great relationships at all levels. Everyone treated equally. Ability to move to different systems in the team to gain more experience. Benefits are good also.

      If you never got a opportunity before, maybe this is the place.

      Cons

      Where employees are treated only as numbers. A very disorganized company, with a full workload and a deficient management system, mainly in Quality Control. Not enough training provided to employees on new processes/methods. Resistant and completely closed company for improvements and new ideas.

      Pros

      1. The US Management (current senior directors) are some of the most professional people to work with in the whole company. 2. Great travel policy (Business Class for long flights). 3. When it comes to career development, I always felt looked after and I always had who to count on. 4. A "best sharing practice" culture is in place at a global level.

      Cons

      1. The management based in Ireland is very unprofessional and incapable of handling team conflicts, some of which went too far by taking a few dangerous paths. 2. The most senior person from the management located in the Dublin office (Global Operations) has absolutely no auditing and management skills and is very much behind the very high staff turnover - nearly three quarters of the auditors based in Dublin left in less than one year. The very same individual whose responsibilities were always a mystery for everyone in the group was occasionally using bullying at a discreet level by way of showing his power given by the HQ. 3. Not a very competitive range of benefits.

      Pros

      -Friendly people in some departments but the very good ones unfortunately dont last long since they know they would be valued more in other places. -Location easy to reach.

      Cons

      The culture is bad, there is people leaving every few months due to the poor treatment and the HR department doesn't do anything to make it better or to stop those kind of behaviours. Salary is low compared to other places. Behaviours are on the edge of being discriminatory and sometimes mobbing does occur in certain departments. They would rather hire someone from outside that promoting people. Training is close to nothing. Management likes to make people feel that they are never good enough and enjoys doing that. Micromanagement that feels like a primary school where they check what you are doing every minute makes people get tired of the place very fast in special when there are so many companies where people is empowered and given proper training and opportunities to grow. I met 5 different team members in one year, they never lasted long and they made them feel it was them who were not good enough. Rarely ever you will see such a high rate of people leaving in a good place, so you can make your own conclusion. Linkedin could be a good place to check how long people stays in the role you want. Real indicator on how bad is that deparment. Please do your research before joining this company, because most of the people does not consider they work in a nice place and morale is very low.

We encourage our managers to give employees continuous feedback and coaching to help them build their skills, and unfortunately, this does not sound consistent with your experience. Discrimination and mobbing are unacceptable and have no place at Mylan. Employees have several avenues for reporting such concerns, including the global Compliance Line.

      Pros

      If you are woefully under qualified for any role you can think of then it's a good place to get experience and leave 12 months later still not knowing anything but your CV is padded out at least. If you're related to someone in Mylan it's easy street for you!

      Cons

      Adherence to SOPs,GMP,GDP are laughable its's total quantity over quality. Communication from management is non existent except when it come to blame game which is rampant. Promotion is achieved not through knowledge ,experience or ability but by dint of brown nosing.Lack of ability or talent is no barrier to success in Mylan. Holiday allowance is farcical and only getting worse,base pay is on the low end but shift can bring it up. Training is simply awful,constantly left to fend for yourself and figure out systems /procedures on your own which inevitably leads to slower thru times which rile management up but they can't seem to grasp that fact despite it being pointed out repeatedly across all streams in various townhall meetings.
