Depends on the contract you work under. If you are on a primary contract, you are better off. If you are on a secondary contract or subcontract, nobody cares about you. From my experience, there wasn't any attempt at finding another place for me in the company after issues with the contract came up. The company I was subcontracted to was so unprofessional and toxic that I don't know how they managed even before I got there. There was more than one compulsive liar on the team (I know a lot of people say this when they have a bad experience with a team, but, in this case, it's true.). MEP did nothing. They acted like it was a big family with approachable management; however, in my case, I was neglected. This is all after moving across the country for this position too. Due to this, I would not recommend MEP to anyone, especially those who have to move from far away. Also, don't even think about raising a family while doing this work. Find something more stable.
