Pros

1. Get underpaid. 2. Asking for employee accommodation will get you fired or laid off or suspended. 3. You will be micro-managed and managers won't let you sit down on your desk for a second, even if you have completed all the tasks assigned. 4. Be ready to open boxes, move pallet skids, and clean the office, when you start in a tech role. 5. As a bonus, you get to plow the snow in the winter from the office parking with shovels.

Cons

1. Working hard will get you underpaid and fired quietly even if you perform very well. 2. Hurting your manager's EGO will get you out of the office quickly.

Pros

- If you are new to Canada, unemployed, inexperienced, or basically need a job, they have a low barrier to entry level/mid level positions. In other words, it's easy to get a job here, especially if you are okay with getting paid minimum wage. - New office in Burnaby so if you live in a suburb and don't want to commute downtown, this could be a plus for you - Employees are nice enough - Not a stressful work environment for the most part

Cons

- They are cheap. Even though they are an IT company that sells computers, they will give you an old crappy laptop (if you're lucky). - You have to pay for parking even though you're in an industrial area of Burnaby. There are also no options that are close by for lunch (except for the casino) - Pay is laughably low (for most employees). They will say that there are annual reviews (which are tied into raises), but the reviews are subjective and arbitrary, making it difficult to argue a case for yourself. - Departments often clash - Disorganized and disconnected processes - Overall, it's surface level nice. Executives don't really care about you. They are not terrible, but don't expect them to be in your corner at the end of the day. - Tons of turnover
