MicroThermics is a very people-oriented organization. We create an environment in which we can enjoy working together. It is deliberate. This is supported by a number of reviews here. The claim of sexual harassment is important to me. There has never been a claim filed within or against our company for sexual harassment or any other. Regardless, because of this review, we conducted a thorough investigation, and were unable to confirm any information supporting the review. We require all employees and managers to attend training specific to maintaining a harassment-free workplace, and we encourage employees to talk with HR for any concerns they have. We conduct employee opinion surveys, and hold regular employee events like lunches, cook-outs and in-house movies and outings to build relationships. All of this contributes to our culture and strengthens our organization.
Regarding the statement of a “huge turnover rate”, our people-oriented culture is supported by our historical performance. In over 30 years of business, we have never reduced staff due to a loss of business or economic downturn. We have always chosen to retain our people, sometimes at great expense, because they are the strength of our team. In that 30 years, there have been approximately six individuals who were dismissed for cause.
