Pros

Casual work environment, prizes if you are in the right category

Cons

This was hands down the worst company I’ve ever worked for. The environment is so toxic. All of upper mgmt is a boys club dating back to grade school. They have been pretending that covid doesn’t exist for the last two years. Sexism, racism, sexual harassment, bullying are commonplace here, management just looks the other way. If you report anything they will find a way to get you out of there rather than support or protect their employees. No work/life balance and lots of working off the clock.

Pros

Steady work. 40 hours per week.

Cons

The motto here from management is expect your employees to do more than they are capable of and you will get more work out of them. Always make the company money in every situation even if it is a company error. Expect customers to continue to buy even if you provide below par service. We didn't deliver on expected delivery days 3 times in a row? It doesn't matter, why did that customer stop buying? We won't take back a return after they sent pictures proving it was our error? It doesn't matter, why did they stop buying? We told them 3 times the delivery truck would be there and they waited past close time for our driver and he didn't show up? It doesn't matter, why did they stop buying? The customer called in and got put on hold, transfered to 5 different reps then hung up on? It doesn't matter why did they stop buying? I could go on and on. They say they are a local, family first company. They say they take care of their customers. They say it is a great place to work so they can try and recruit more people. They only put things things out as a facade. The minute things don't go their way its time to get pushy. It doesn't matter if the company is at fault they push back on everything to try and get their way.

Pros

Lots of autonomy to do the job as needed.

Cons

No room for growth, benefits are meh, "there is always room for improvement" bs, and goal posts get shifted every time you turn around. Additionally, you'll be told this is the project of importance one time and then the next day "WhY aRe YoU WoRkInG oN tHaT!!!!!".
