Meritto has become an example of poor leadership and toxic corporate politics. The higher management remains unchanged while employees at the team level keep leaving due to an unhealthy work culture. Many managers and directors appear to lack both practical knowledge and professional etiquette when interacting with employees. There is a clear double standard in expectations — senior management often does not follow the same discipline they demand from employees regarding office timings and work culture. Employees are expected to arrive early, stay late, and leave only after senior leaders leave, regardless of workload or work-life balance. What is most disappointing is the tendency of higher management to take credit for the hard work and achievements of their teams while failing to acknowledge employee contributions. Instead of fostering growth, transparency, and respect, the environment feels politically driven, demotivating, and mentally exhausting for employees trying to build their careers.
