We are still a growing company that is rapidly adapting to the ever-changing healthcare industry and trying to listen and receive feedback as best as we possibly can. As we continue to grow as a company, we are constantly adding tools and resources to also help our team members grow. With a large team spread out across the country, it is important our employees also have as many avenues as possible to be heard, which is why, in addition to our employee Intranet and regular company updates, we also rolled out monthly employee surveys, additional training resources, and other ways for people to connect with each other and leadership. Thank you for your feedback - we are striving to continue to improve.

Pros

Relaxed when possible, friendly among colleagues

Cons

High workloads on staff. Staff leaving in their droves and not replaced. Too many managers with sisters, wives and nephews working in the same department.

Pros

Pay and benefits aren't bad. Great team of intelligent people to work with.

Cons

IT can no longer work remotely after new leadership took over. We've lost SEVERAL IT professionals after the takeover because they could no longer work remotely and then being forced to come back to the office or relocate to a city/state where there was a MedData office. We lost many great employees with YEARS of knowledge and experience because of this and MedData was happy to let them go. Since I've been with MedData, I've gone through 7 different bosses in seven years and soon I will have an 8th new boss. In just the past year I've changed bosses 4 times! This company is becoming more and more unstable and is heading to a path of self-destruction. There are members of the management team that engage in commiserating with employees that are trying to communicate their unhappiness with the company and the need for change but instead of Management using their position of authority to help effect change, they sympathize with the employees and just say "yeah things need to change." Leadership should be our voice to help promote change and keep employees engaged and happy. The culture is extremely toxic. When the new President took over, I was very hopeful that the culture would change and it seemed there were positive steps being taken to address the culture. There was hope that there would be enough change to stop the revolving door of employee turnover and bring about a new engaging culture where employees feel valued and empowered but those hopes went down the drain after the new CIO took over. Now we are micromanaged and not trusted to be adults and get our jobs done. We now have to come back to the office so that we can be monitored. The industry standard is moving in the direction of remote employees but MedData is moving backwards and everyone in IT can see that. I know there are several people in IT looking for another job because of this.
