The management is very understanding, but also VERY fickle. Like a family, they expect the most but the reward is maybe just a pat on the back and pretty much ZERO room for growth.
There will be impossible goals that they will try to accomplish with being understaffed, while working there, our team consisted of 3 people.
The worst part of it is the promise of growth, but with a flick of a switch, they have no qualms with letting you go without any severance or package.
-Moderate pay (promises of commissions and raises that usually doesn't amount to anything)
-No benefits
-Small family business environment (usually means small teams and you will be swamped)
-You usually end up doing more than you applied for
-No room for growth (ultimately it's their goal, but too many of their side projects causes them to lose money)
-High turnover rate (people were in and out, not by their choice constantly)
