MCHC provides great care to many people in need that other wise would not be able to get it. The staff are caring to each other in full filling this mission.
Cons
The organization changed a lot over the last few years. We went from a small company to over 200 with the addition of Tarrytown and merger with CHS. The admin staff is unable to keep up. They are way understaffed and have many manual processes that need automation. The pay is generally low even by nonprofit standard. Many of the staff are stressed out.
Good learning opportunity, a lot of nice co-workers, great people interaction. You easily become multi task, client appreciation is wonderful, stable job, no cutting hours, stable schedule.
Cons
Salaries are low, workload is extensive, demands of the job grow way too fast. Some supervisors don't know enough about workflow, company is under staffed.
