People are great the job demands are not
Pros
Most of the people you work with are awesome. I made some good friends there. The CEO is really awesome he does care about people but the business has grown too big for him to have any real control on any departments. They do employee appreciation week and little events through out the year and have an annual Christmas party.
Cons
They tell you mandatory over time but what they don't tell you is mandatory is 53 hours a week 2-3 weeks out of the month and yes that includes Saturdays. They also have mandatory shifts for End of Month, End of quarter, End of Year this means you work on new years night which is 100% mandatory. The EOM, EOQ, EOY goes like this, they will allow you to come in a couple hours late but you can not go home until they tell you that you are no longer needed. This could be 8 pm or 12am but they will buy you dinner. I have worked plenty of 17 -18 hour shifts. You will have black out dates for your PTO so in December plan on not being able to travel to see your loved ones. Working that many hours a week will take its toll. You will get sick but be ready to use your PTO days if you need to call into work, no sick days and no days off with out pay and don't even think about missing a Saturday or not hitting the mandatory hours for the week, they will write you up. The people who work hard and make quality work fast will be taken advantage of. They are also really not so nice to the temp employees either. If you have no life or family this is a job for you, if you do have a life and a family I highly advise looking else where there is no work life balance.
