Great to be with a growing company

Pros

New owners have offered me opportunities to grow my knowledge and are investing in my future. Owners increased my take-home pay by taking full cost burden of PPE requirements (I previously had to pay half of my uniform rental and full cost of boots), and offered a unique health-sharing plan that lowered my cost to participate. Went to a shooting range for our Christmas party!

Cons

Many changes underway as the company grows. Have to be willing to adapt

Ability to contribute to a team. A growing and value added company. Great co-workers. Management that is passionate about the company. A management that listens to suggestions and incorporates into the environment when possible.

Cons

Constant change but that goes with growth and learning.

My time with LubriSource

Pros

Great starting pay with minimal training or certifications to be employed.

Cons

The new owners didn't like the amount of money i was making while on a service call so they lowered my pay AND raised our service rate. They also didn't want to pay for me to be on their insurance to drive the company van so I drove my pov to different states and destroyed it in and out. Fired me day after Christmas break. I just bought a house, and adopted a child. They don't care to let you go at any time.

Our LubriSource team is very sorry for the loss of your loved one. For those who are enrolled in our health sharing plan we do have access to Counseling and a Chaplain to help with the grieving process. We also have a bereavement policy that allows for 3 days off with pay in addition to 3 personal days as well as accrued vacation time. We at LubriSource have an open door policy and are available to our employees at any time. Again, we are very sorry for the loss of your family member. While we do have a company service van, only eligible employees are authorized to drive it. We take several factors into account in determining eligibility, including employee position, licensure, insurance requirements, and driving record. We do however, reimburse for both gas and mileage when using a personal vehicle for work related activities. Our owner, Angela Morrow has implemented many “pro-employee” changes. Some changes she has implemented include taking care of uniform costs and increasing the safety boot allowance – both which put more money in the employees pocket. She has been known to buy adoption gifts and make meals for employees when special circumstances arise, as well as celebrate birthdays, employment anniversary’s and host fun employee appreciation outings. Angela has a Master’s Degree in Industrial Technology from Purdue University and has over 25+ years of solid business experience with successive promotions. She is a positive change agent. Our LubriSource team is passionate about solving the toughest industrial lubrication problems and enabling our customers success. In the past two years, LubriSource has grown by 25% achieving 4+ consecutive quarters of revenue gain. Our team has achieved this together. It is unfortunate that your employment with LubriSource did not work out – we do wish you success.
