Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your experience at LloydsDirect. We value your feedback and are sorry to hear about some of your frustrations. While no company is perfect, we've taken your feedback seriously and would like to address some of your points.
LloydsDirect has recently undergone an acquisition, joining forces with Pharmacy2U and you’re correct, our objectives and key results (OKRs) have had to change as a result of that, due to the new strategic direction. This exciting development brings new opportunities and possibilities for growth, both professionally and personally to everyone at LloydsDirect. So, we see this as a great opportunity to combine forces on our path to profitability, which has always been a goal of ours and we are committed to fostering a positive work environment under this new partnership.
We hear your concerns about the challenges you’ve faced and we want to assure you that we value all our employees and we want to emphasise our commitment to DE&I. LloydsDirect has a robust DE&I Strategy, D&I Policy, and Employee Resource Groups. We are a company that is continuously learning and fostering an inclusive workplace where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. We would encourage you to reach out to our People Director, Laura Turnbull laura.turnbull@lloydsdirect.co.uk, who is available for a confidential conversation to address any additional concerns or suggestions directly with you, if you're open to it.
Moreover, we recognise the importance of internal progression and the need for a supportive working environment. We have so many amazing career trajectory examples here at LloydsDirect, for example Pharmacists becoming our Ops Directors; Patient Care Advisors moving into Marketing & the People Team; Dispenser Trainees to Professional Standard Pharmacists, to name a few!
In addressing concerns about our feedback processes, we aim to create a transparent and supportive process for this. We have a very low Performance Improvement Plan (“PIP”) rate and always seek to support team members informally first with a very good success rate of improvement without the need for a PIP, achieving positive outcomes for our team members.
Glassdoor is not the only place we welcome feedback from our team members. We give the opportunity for everyone to reach out in various forums including the eNPS quarterly survey, quarterly Ask me Anything sessions, monthly Office Hours with our Managing Director, Connie and we’ve just launched our survey between surveys.
In reference to high turnover rate, we operate at a higher than average team retention rate in our industry at 23% and our median employee tenure is at a solid 3 years. Our team members are dedicated to embodying our values; Positive, Thoughtful and Inventive, on a daily basis.
We encourage an open dialogue and invite you to reach out to Laura or the People team peopleteam@lloydsdirect.co.uk if you have further suggestions or concerns.
All the best for the future!
