Pros

Amazing atmosphere when I started, a lot of people have left but a lot of nice people to work with and company still has a start-up mindset. Usual advantages (ticket resto, free coffee...). Flexible hours and possibility to do home office. Very interesting industry (social media) and projects with top companies.

Cons

There are still big and challenging deals to win but the social media sector is slowing down and the top management doesn't set a very clear direction to the company. A lot of turnover in teams recently as people are not aligned with the new strategy. Good salary for communication agencies... But low compared to other Saas martech companies. The CE is very limited. Efforts to promote interaction between offices but people don't feel estimate at HQ in Paris.

Pros

Nice we-work environment with free food perks occasionally.

Cons

Manager liked to micro-manage making it very difficult to flourish as a BDR. Very outdated tele-sales view on how to generate new business, best way is to be inventive and emails tends to work better for cold outreach which manager did not seem to understand. Required to make 75 calls a day which was tedious and unsuccessful for many of the BDR's. Did not feel comfortable making calls in front of manager which made things even worse. Reduced my colleague into tears at one point. - HR was based in France so made things very difficult to express how people felt in the office.

Thank you for your feedback and we're sorry to hear you did not enjoy your time with us. We appreciate your comments but wanted to clarify some of the points in the spirit of transparency: We continue to improve and innovate ways to generate leads for our sales team, from email campaigns and webinars to dedicated events and a new CRM system. As in most companies, we do require our sales team to phone potential leads and it's part of the job description for anyone who joins as a BDR. That said, we do not track the calls and the 75 calls a day KPI simply doesn't exist. We have a dedicated international HR team, based in Paris. The recently grown team is present in all our markets (in person) through regular visits, catch ups and team workshops. We also have a dedicated internal communication tool to encourage all team members to collaborate - that includes HR. Further to this, we encourage teams not based in Paris to travel there on regular basis. Once again, we're sorry to hear you did not take full advantage of what we have to offer and wish you good luck for the future.
