Pros

Good products and maybe one or two decent sr. leaders

Cons

Apathetic employees; problem president/CEO; low morale (btw, Rick Woldenberg is the current president/CEO. Etienne Veber has not been the CEO for several years)

Pros

Working hours are okay. Some managers pretty flexible, for the most part.

Cons

There is not much good to say about Learning Resources. Ignore the last four reviews because I gurantee HR (or what's left of it) advised for employees (or themselves) wrote something positive in order to get people to work for them and bring the CEO's rating up, which in fact is also an untrue depiction of him. I would never recommend someone to leave their stable job and transfer here for 'growth and opportunities'. Stay far, far, away.

Pros

It’s a toy company and the people are like family. The benefits are decent and HR is working hard to improve. There are summer hours, plenty of small celebrations and you can wear whatever you want. The pay can be decent depending on the dept. Overall the pay scale is on the lower side of average.

Cons

If you’re looking for a marketing position, keep looking. Unless you’re just looking for a job. Then this might be the right place. Here’s what you can expect: Hours of busy work to prove your plan (with ppt) then very little time to execute. The target is constantly moving so you’ll never actually succeed. Some mgrs will withhold information from you to ensure you’re blindsided. More bosses than leaders. You’ll be micromanaged to the point of suffocation. You’re told you can make decisions, but can’t. At times it’s abusive. Being dressed down in front of the team, forgetful leadership, and favoritism. Its sad really. There’s so much potential here.
