Pros

Get to work with the children, they are amazing. Some supervisors are more helpful than others.

Cons

Horrible pay, trust me it is not even worth it. Barely make enough to pay bills and they highly suggest that we buy toys for our clients? Oh boy! (Not that I dislike the clients and not want to spend it on them). Hours are very limited. Hard to asked for more hours. Horrible and rude HR. Bad communication between managements and behavior techs.

Pros

The children are amazing! This is one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever worked. To see the progress each child makes is incredible. And the parents really show their appreciation. They know how hard you work and value your time and efforts in helping their children.

Cons

Where do I start?! They are LIARS! They make promises of how easy it is to move up without informing you that the only way to promote is to have a bachelors and then sign a contract with the company saying you will stay and continue your education to receive a masters. The pay absolutely sucks. I have been with the company for about a year and I still make minimum wage! They promised 25 cent raises every three months. Complete BS. And when you go to question them, they ignore you! Some of the specialists are good, but most of them couldn't care less. They are only there for a paycheck. They don't involve themselves whatsoever. And they get a quarter of the child's hours each week for data... which the techs collect. When they do come to visit the child, they don't even know how to interact with them because they only come maybe once a month! And they spend maybe an hour with you. This company is really shady. The only positive is the children.
