Pros

Children are endearing. The work schedule was wonderful.

Cons

Administration is terrible. Moral was very low. Admin Staff would leave the site every Monday for three hour meeting. Never got a lunch break. Bathroom breaks were once a day at best.

Pros

The facilities are fantastic and they will work around your schedule. They will usually try their best to make families happy - after all, they are taking half their pay check!

Cons

Horrible pay and little to no opportunity for advancement or a raise (unless it is a few cents once a year...IF you fulfill all their ridiculous expectations). Pay is the same for everyone with the same title regardless of education. They will take every opportunity to lower your paycheck - they even try to get YOU to pay THEM! As if the corporation is struggling... (far from it, our administrative staff loves to flaunt how much money they have and how little they work). Administrative staff is rude and unwilling to help you. Ever. Emphasis is on MONEY first, parents second, kids third, and employees well...not at all. It makes me sick going there day after day, being overworked, and paid barely anything for it. Thankfully the kids make it worth it but with such a high turnover rate, clearly it's not enough to last. Parents - let me save you the trouble. What they show you on the tour is great on the outside but not at all how it really works. Teachers barely get by with what they're given and your kid is not getting your money's worth. For instance, admin will lie to you about how your child actually got that bruise just to avoid any conflict - maybe he got punched, or he slipped on a puddle inside...but they will skew the story so RS is not responsible. Disgustingly run place. Do not waste your time here.

Pros

Some of the families, the children, staff, the program as a whole IF it was implemented with fidelity and the franchisee was inappropriately qualified

Cons

Haphazard training, unorganized, staff not backed up, children/families are a dollar sign, narcissistic/petty executive director, calls herself a leader but is really a manager and puts out fires she creates, reactive not proactive leadership, unrealistic expectations, lack of adequate supplies/money for supplies, self serving management.
