Pros

If you are lucky and have right team to work with there is good place to work, and there are some, but some of them are a nightmare.

Cons

The company is based on relatives; more than 80% are related: husband and wife, uncle and nephew, so on...everyone you ask says that he got there through someone…Be very caution who you talk to. If you do not have someone to cover your back, you will be out in a few months. Permanent positions are given to related people; are very young, without experience and lazy. Temporary workers are like "experiment rats", no life for them, under huge pressure, threatening them, are watched all the time…..while permanent people are always busy with betting or Facebook. One said….I do not care, I am PERMANENT, and none can do anything to me :) STAY AWAY from women supervisors, men are spot on. Unreal targets, each job has its time to accomplish, if not you will be in trouble. There is no real trainers, an experience worker is not a trainer, has not the basic skill to explain a process… It is up to the Team leaders if you stay or if you go, not the management...they are playing with you saying...we will keep you, we let you go...

Pros

Pay is really good but there paying you that money for the amount of crap you have to put up with everyday because you have no help at all from up above

Cons

There are to many cons in this company. I was giving a 4 month contract and was told in my interview if I worked hard we will keep you on. Little did I know they couldn't of cared less about how I was doing, I was never giving proper training then was expected to preform without any proper training, then I was told that I smelt by a supervisor. I also asked the production manager was there anything going after my contract finished and she said no there's nothing then brushed my off by saying "we can talk about this later" later finding out that manager had no intention of talking anymore to me about this. I later found out that they offered everyone else I started with a further 3 month extension. To many of senior management not pulling there weight or doing what they should be doing eg, one day a maintence guy was in the fill room and didn't bother to ring out so he banged repeatly on the glass panel so hard everybody jumped in the packaging area with a supervisor of long sature within Leo just walked away and did nothing to confront that type of behaviour. This seems to be the Leo way.

People ...great knowledge base in Dublin prepared to go the extra mile. Heath and wellbeing program is well run.

Constant chaotic restructuring of company , over reaching without resourcing. poorly focused management and poorly thought through decision making at the top has damaged morale and demotivated staff. Tighter control attempts by Corporate have damaged Dublin site on several levels. Limited opportunites for advancement.
