      The accounts that you'll be able to work on, and NYFW shows that you'll be involved in.

      Cons

      There's a general lack of respect, common decency and kindness that interns and freelancers are treated with by full time employees and senior staff. You're disposable (which has been explicitly stated by a senior employee) and they treat you as such. Morale is low, and everything is life or death. It seems that because people are so unhappy with their own lives/jobs they treat everyone else they come into contact with miserably. No opportunity for advancement (even if they try to sell you under the guise that there are opportunities after hiring you as an intern or freelancer).

      if you are a poc...RUN AWAY!! The lack of diversity at kcd is appalling and archaic. Along with the toxic upper management, I never felt safe working here and HR was never an option.

      They work with the biggest names in the industry and produce the most major events, including things like The MET Gala and the CFDA Awards.

      Cons

      Too many to list. If you value your self, your self-worth, your self-esteem, and just your overall mental well-being, then this is not the place for you! It is run by some of the most terrible human beings I’ve ever encountered, who genuinely don’t care about their employees at all: people are disposable and treated as such here. Also, don’t plan on having a life outside of work.
