Great idea, poor execution as they try to be everything to everyone

Pros

Opportunity to foster technology community in northeast Ohio, accelerating economic return. No day is the same. People in my immediate sphere worked hard and cared about the quality of their work. I loved the idea of what I could do, and sincerely believed it was my responsibility to do whatever it took to help entrepreneurs proceed.

Cons

Money for tech development is often co-opted for other initiatives, which eroded the resources available to make a meaningful impact. Lots of big egos who spend more time talking than doing. Tons of overhead that brings minimal value. People in the wrong roles with no consequences for not doing their jobs, and little likelihood of being addressed due to the optics of removing them from the role.

Pros

Flexible, very little supervision, salary was higher than it has to be based on workload

Cons

Political, focused more on making the company look good than helping customers
