Pros

Decent money Really laid back company Can post pictures all day Got to travel a lot Amazing people work for this company

Cons

Soo let’s talk about the cons. You will be on your own I worked for invicta for almost a year. I’ve been thru 4 different area managers. 65% of the time I didn’t even have an area manager. I literally ran a store with no support. Then soon as a problem arises that you had no idea about they say it’s in the HR manual that you signed but never read. They have you send important HR document thru your phone. With peoples social security number. They have no structure. They change commission every month. They have you focus on selling invincibles so if they go out of business it’s all profit. This company sent me to the wolves and I survived for a while with no help. They have no training manuals I literally had to have my ASM make training files. I traveled to so many states to help stores. They have no control on there Inventory. They get rid of anyone they can’t control. If your not posting in a group chat your not doing your job I’m sorry I thought I was suppose to be selling watches. This company is on its way out the owner is so greedy. You have to compete with Evine which has Invicta watches at 75% of the price we’re selling them for, but they say the deals make up for it no they don’t not if you want just one watch. They don’t have any price matches and there prices are all over the place . Also everyone in this company worked with everyone before the national sales manager was in the Vice Presidents wedding and it’s one big Cult! Thankful for the opportunity because it taught me a lot. I will never work like a slave for anyone like this again. You get no hours for payroll, so they make you stand in a kiosk by yourself for hours and you get a phone call if you go take a bathroom break. This is one job where you will be on your own corporate is impossible to talk to you have to have an area manager cc on every email to get a response. All in all I pray a invicta gets it together for there sake.

Pros

The employees at store-level are great. The customers coming in are really cool and it's a fun job. Relaxed uniform (denim jeans - no holes, invicta t shirt and sneakers), it's an expensive watch store so you really get to just hang out about 50% of the time, unless its a holiday time such as mother/fathers day, valentines day or christmas.

Cons

Micromicromicro managing. Anything you do has to be approved with area manager, cannot merchandise freely, cannot do special orders for customers who request items that they would buy from us. Not to mention, ONLINE RETAILERS ARE KILLING OUR PRICES!!!! We recently had a price INCREASE when people were already coming in every day saying they found the same watch we sell at 75% off our price...we can't beat that and there's no incentives to buying in store. The whole "in store exclusive" nonsense is just old. All those models have since been moved to being sold online....it's just stressful when the company can't take ideas or constructive criticism from people at store level who are actually working with the product and ideas and know how things work.

Biggest Mistake of My Life

Pros

Free employee shirts and discounts on watches. It was nice traveling and meeting new employees in different states.

Cons

I literally was thrown into the fire. A company is supposed to support you, not make you do their legal work. The store was opened before the permits were available and I had to fight to keep the store open so it wouldn’t have to be shut down. I worked from sun up to sun down without a break because you can’t leave the kiosk empty. I would send emails for orders like for shipment and supplies and wouldn’t receive anything for months. Recognized my emails were being deleted so it looked like I wasn’t doing my job. I did not feel safe at this job. There was an active shooter and me and my team didn’t feel safe in the mall anymore. We kindly asked if we could shut down for the day like the other stores, but the manager asked “is this good for the business?” This company is literally money hungry and doesn’t care about its associates. After the active shooter incident I knew I had to leave. After a few weeks of working after the incident I was told to forget about the past and aim to make Sales sky rocket and that things would change. Everything got worse. I had an injury from working here and they wouldn’t give me time off to heal. I was also promised a certain amount of money but literally every check was short ! The commission was ok but a lot of the team members checks came up short. The company makes the store manager do everything even legal work that only the CEO should be doing. We lost a lot of associates and store managers that bent over backwards for the company. I didn’t sleep for a whole week because when’re you open a new store you spend 8-13 hours setting it up with only 2 other people and you’re required to come right back in the morning to open. The company is highly disorganized and the only reason they’re opening so many stores so quickly is one of course because of the ridiculous sales and two, they only hire 2 people when they open a store so they can hurry to the next town to build another. I never should’ve worked here. My injury is finally getting better from working here but this is the most insensitive money hungry disorganized company I’ve ever worked for. I hope things change.
