However, there are certainly a few things in your review we can address here. In regard to turnover, we have a retention rate that we are very proud to say has been consistently over 90% for the last several years, so a claim that turnover is high simply isn’t the case. At Intrepid we believe the best hires often come from those we know and trust, so we do place a strong emphasis on hiring within our employee’s networks and building a company that feels like family. Our industry-leading 401k contribution is also a point of pride at Intrepid. An employee will receive 100% of their first 3% of salary on day 1! Then, over a 5-year period, you accrue an additional 11% of your income on a vesting schedule of 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, and 100%. Our plan rewards loyal employees, but it is beneficial no matter how long employment lasts. This is because not only is the percentage considerable, we also do not require any match from employees for these contributions. At Intrepid, we believe Communication can always be improved, so we take your advice to heart.
