toxic location

Pros

Some great co workers. Current GM actually live near location, and did not want to go back home to Florida

Cons

Bad location, GM has hired both son full time employee . Then daughter through a temp agency, nephew, and best friend. who does admin work but is listed as a superintendent. micro manages everyone. Imposes their view of family values. allows use of alcohol in the office, has gone drinking gotten drunk with select employees, shows favoritism. manipulative, makes quick decisions that usually end up wasting everyone time.

Pros

There seem to be fewer every day.

Cons

Toxic managers. Hostile work environment rife with drama. Inexcusable behavior is allowed for certain individuals while minor errors are punished for others. This company does not care about its employees.

I Love my job

Pros

My core values align with Interstate's. Our GM is one of our biggest cheer leaders/ super supportive to the team We have an outstanding team with great communication We can go with our ideas on how to get better and its always a positive feedback. The atmosphere is of a tight knit team , always looking out for each other. The GM fosters team building and always has an open door. GM is always reminding us of the potential to go within the company.

Cons

Sometimes the hours can be long in an emergency situation (but that is what I signed up for).
