Pros

None really, nope none at all

Cons

Intelsat has the nerve to list “fun, diverse and inclusive culture” as a benefit. They couldn’t be more wrong. Intelsat is lacking diversity at senior levels and the culture is poisonous. I don’t know why anyone would want to remain working there!

Pros

There are some great people. The work is interesting.

Cons

This is the most outdated, out of touch place I have ever worked. We have to be in 3 days per week no exceptions. The leadership team has basically no diversity (only a few white women). Everyone is overworked working nights and weekends and very stressed. It’s a cutthroat, toxic work environment. Most of the five star reviews were written by employees who just started. They ask you to do it during new hire orientation. If you read a lot of them, under cons it says none SO FAR because they are brand new. Just keep that in mind.

Pros

At this point I am having trouble listing the pros of the company. As a previous Gogo employee, the culture is changing fast. Decisions are now made from the top down and employees and let alone managers have no say in any policy changes. Technology is also far behind its peers and it can be seen in many meetings between teams.

Cons

As a previous Gogo employee, the culture of the company is changing, and changing for the worse. Intelsat corporate has very high turnover and we are about to see that on the commercial aviation side as well. Managers and employees have little say in changes that occur and feedback is not accepted from employees - something that Gogo took strongly. The new return to the workplace policies offer little flexibility to the employees as well. Chicago employees will be required to wear a mask in the office full time as chicago was just moved into the “high” category. A one size fits all policy does not work for return to the workplace. Raises were also on the lighter end for 2022.
