Pros

Encouraged to work independently and be self-sufficiant. Ability to cross-train and learn as much from each department as you want. Good amount of paid time off.

Cons

Small family-owned business with questionable management practices. Poor Pay with empty promises of future opportunities and bonuses. Blames employees for slow sales and overall company performance and expects more and more out of them while cutting back benefits.

Pros

Relaxed atmosphere and flexibility with schedule. Good benefits and PTO. Coworkers and supervisors are very friendly and easy to work with. The company does fun events like catering food trucks and stuff in every once in awhile to treat employees. Lots of employees have been there a long time because it is enjoyable.

Cons

It's very hard to advance, and if you do get the opportunity for a promotion, they will value you less than someone from the outside. No matter how well you perform in your current postion, how many departments you crosstrain in, and even go the extra mile to train successfully within the department you are supposed to move into to prove you are capable, they wont value it. They will praise you for doing well but when it comes to talk about salary increase they will lowball you, saying you "dont have experience", even if you have been with the company for many years and have proven to be successful in the new postion during the months long "trial period" they put you through beforhand. It's a good place to work but do your research for a fair salary, and dont accept less than what you know you are worth.

Pros

once you get the hang of the job it's relatively easy & no day is the same employees are friendly and most have been there for years and have fun stories to tell convenient location decent benefits casual environment

Cons

management reluctant to change or listen to employees nobody seems to know how to get all of the departments to work as a team- its a constant push and pull because nobody wants to give an inch many of the employees who have been there for years are stuck in their ways and refuse to adapt to new/improved processes dated processes & equipment environment can be gossipy favoritism mediocre pay for what can be a high stress job (and commission only goes to sales reps)
