There are too many problems and it is getting worse everyday.
1) New CEO and executives did nothing good for the company. Instead, they focus on cost cutting and layoff to make it looking good for selling for quick money in their pocket.
2) After acquired by Vista, there is only base salary and non-guaranteed performance bonus for most employees. There are retention bonus for some employees, but only apply to "important" people in the ring. To retain employees, management are trying to sell the idea of making it fun and interesting place to work, great culture and provide opportunity to grow etc. They never tell the truth about how much money each of them would get as part of the retention bonus.
3) Can't trust the management starting from the top. Some management that are hired in the last few years are less talented. They don't know how to manage experienced people. They are good at pleasing their boss. They simply don't want others to be more visible than them. They tend to praise people in their circle and try to isolate others. As a result, some talented employees couldn't take it any longer and quit.
4) More layoff is coming.
5) Talented employees are leaving for better opportunity. There is no chance to compete with multiple good offers.
6) No matter how hard you work, your boss will get all the credits and be promoted first. Your boss may be promoted twice before your turn. This is the reality at Infoblox and this is a joking topic among the employees. Wondering if upper management knows or they simply don't care.
