Pros

I was granted a lot of freedom to meet goals how I thought best to solve problems.

Cons

These was a lot of resistance to change from he floor supervisors who seldom took my advice on how to improve things or gather better data. Employees were treated as a commodity and were not paid competitive wages. Health insurance was useless with a high deductible and no real choices otherwise. Raises, IF they happened never kept up with basic cost-of-living. After 10 years, my severance package was pathetic.

Pros

The benefits and location are very good. Summer months the company is allowed to work 4 day work week with Friday's 1/2 day off. This allowed me and my colleagues to enjoy a little more of the summer months. The organization has comparable pay and good benefits such as medical, dental, HDHP, FSA programs, 401K, Employee Stock purchase offerings and much more....

Cons

The current leadership team has just changed completely the board of directors and senior management team. This gives you an uneasy feeling yet the employees continue to give 100% of their attention to the job at hand. This employees are the largest assets in the organization. They are trying new innovative ideas and are managing the business forward.

Pros

Breakdown has food that you are able to buy.

Cons

Everything but the breakdown. Management is only money driven and does not care about any employees or their customers. Very unethical and the next big event killing our troops or innocent people by accident WILL have IEC parts in it and that will be the cause of that weapon not working the way it should. Wrong parts, parts with no ESD control, damaged parts, non functional parts...if it can ship and count as revenue, it will since there is no quality at this place. People in the stockroom speak up about possibly wrong parts but the thing that is supposed to be a quality manager let's everything go because making shipments is more important than what is shipping and innocent peoples lives. I hope our customers read this and I hope to find another job soon so I can get out of this place. If our clients read this, question your product and I can tell you that working with engineers in production and a quality tech guy, they fake all the traceability and your items will never be able to be tracked down to the actual receiving paperwork. America would get a better product and trusted product from China then from IEC and delivered quicker too. IEC should stick to making gadgets and compete with the Chinese toy making companies instead or just become a puzzle factory. The trainers here would be better at doing their job for this since it sounds fun and all they do is complain if they have to do real work and don't get 7 hours of play time making flyers or just gossiping about the place.
