A company in shambles

Pros

This company has a very talented engineering team. You work very closely with your colleagues, creating a good network of contacts and friends

Cons

Horrid management from top-down. VPs don't know how to take responsibility for their failures and use the employees they are responsible for as scapegoats. This has accounted for several terminations that have come out of the blue. The salary for all positions is well below the medium. For every 3 employees that leave or get fired they hire a new VP, which has resulted in an extremely top heavy organization. IAM Robotics does not have a viable product. They advertise have four lines of robots, three of which have been put through obsolescence at the end of 2021. The only remaining robot line they have left can not be built, as they terminated every employee that knew how to build it. Extremely high turnover for technical positions. (Company has been losing roughly one to two employees a week since September 2021) Employee morale keeps plummeting and the company itself is hemorrhaging the talent that brought them the success they found before moving to Lawrenceville. There is no visible future, employees are told to "Trust the Management" that has continuously failed to produce any form of long-term plan other than "Get bought out by making the company appear to be successful".

Pros

culture was good, before it was changed. free lunches were provided, until they were cut.

Cons

65% of the company was laid off and I can confidently say the C-level team ran this company to the ground. they wanted yes men - engineers to implement what the C level wanted regardless if it was actually attainable. otherwise they would be fired. C-level frequently lied to employees at check in meetings about financial state of the company, asking "no one freak out and don't start putting your resumes out", even though they knew well in advance the 65% cut was coming. prior to the mass cut, cuts and quits would occur quietly and frequently - co-workers would disappear and never come back. HR would not allow employees to clean up their desks, requiring them to come back after hours to do so and did not allow them to say goodbye to their team members or friends - all under the idea of "to not cause a scene". there are multiple instances from former employees of the company denying unemployment and delaying cobra payments.

Pros

The people are the best. You will make great friendships with your colleagues.

Cons

Management continuously terminates people by saying they no longer need 'that role'. HR Team needs to take some classes on being better employee advocates. The company doesn't focus on diversity and inclusion.
