Great people, poor management - subject to “good ole boy” system
Pros
There are some good people that work in the factories, and other segments. Have backing from the UK.
Cons
Subject to the “good ole boy” culture, if you didn’t go to Pampa High, you’re SOL. The manufacturing management are too busy chasing things elsewhere to be present and manage. The PLM’s (now being called “champions”) are a joke. They couldn’t even be champions in the special olympics. They don’t manage production capabilities well, and have pigeon-holed us as a company with unreliable parts on some systems, and are some of the laziest people to walk through the doors. But management treats them like gold. Nobody else can understand why.... The management doesn’t care about us at all. Evidently, there will not be any merit raises or bonuses. So, what’s the point? Can’t get updated so production numbers are low and can’t suplly demand, but there is always someone wanting more from us. The guys in Houston are snakes. Can’t direct or manage. No support, just poor excuses, but “we want more from you”, even though they can’t hold up their end. Titan is a company that is rapidly losing market share to companies who can meet demand, and who have more experienced people. There is no future for advancement here unless you’re a sycophant from Pampa High back in the 80’s.
