Neither Human or Good for employees

Pros

Employees want to do good and care about the mission.

Cons

Used to be a great place to work but culture has changed. Management just keeps piling work on already stressed employees. Executives talk about living our best life and work life balance but then demand more performance. It's sad and they're going to lose some really outstanding people soon.

Pros

Paid my rent Vacation time was awesome

Cons

I'll start this off with a few things. 1. The CEO told us that they made 20 million in revenue, meanwhile the next day got rid of our entire nursing and kitchen staff because of both departments hemorrhaging money. 2. Facility administrator hired all family and close friends save for 2 people making it highly difficult to actually do your job. 3. Got written up shortly after notifying corporate about what the administrator was doing (racist comments, nepotism actions, RCW laws broken.) 4. I lived on site and the work life balance was horrible. They think just because you live on site that you need to be at home 24/7. They took advantage of it. 5. I eventually got rid of my administrator and her family with the help of HR then my regional came down with the hammer on me effectively making me quit my job. 6. The terminated employee told her friend who worked security to get revenge on me. My tires were stabbed and corporate didn't even try to find out who did it. I got the run around with "you weren't here so we didn't check cameras" HR told me that there were "technical difficulties" 7. Working for this company is bad and I mean bad, I would never recommend anyone to this company and I offer you to think twice if you have to live on site.

Employee Morale does not Exist on the East!!

Pros

I love my team they are the true definition of team work make the dream work. My manager is amazing. Best manager/boss I've worked for. I also love the work I do to provide services to our AFH residents!

Cons

There is a saying, when the cats away the mice will play. I was extremely hopeful when we received the news that Presby’s was affiliating with a west coast organization HumanGood. Knowing the culture that most west coast companies provide for their employees, a change was finally coming for employees here on the east. But how wrong I was, the person who wrote the review on April 28 is correct about EVERYTHING. And I want to take this opportunity to add more truth to that review. AFH East team members (including managers) are treated like the “black sheep” of the company, I love my job and the team I work with. No words or admiration can totally express the respect I have for my manager. But when it comes to higher management, there need to be changes made ASAP. I have witnessed Executive Management in the east bully and harass managers and team members which is by far not the “Human Good” way. I have heard team members on the east express the disappointment and concerns of not feeling included when we actually have an “inclusion” department. East Team members were told and given letters saying we are essential employees when it was convenient for the company but when asked about the Cares Acts which included an increase in pay for particular pay range, we were told OH No that’s for essential employees only, and that AFH isn’t essential. Now that's a big slap in the face when we are risking not only our lives but the lives of our loved ones if we were to potentially get infected with the COVID 19 virus when most of the CSC staff are working from home. We were told that HG east would provide COVID testing to team members that didn’t happen. We had to watch and see how the West was getting vaccinated and trying to get some sort of normalcy back into the organization. When East CSC members were getting vaccinated, not one single soul even thought about the AFH team to say, hey let’s see if anyone of them would like to be vaccinated since they are on the front line. So Sad!!! On the east you can see policies not being followed, you can witness favoritism, and how we are being mistreated and bullied by higher management. Our company name is Human Good, you cannot expect to give 100% customer service to the residents when the company can’t even treat the employees right “trickle-down effect.” No one is perfect, people make mistakes, but it is no longer a mistake when the same treatment is happening. It's a habit which has been going on for years. I do have hope that HG West will take these reviews seriously. Hopefully, solutions can be made with required Corporate Training classes that provides Employee Morale for Higher Management.
