I cannot recommend working at this company, primarily due to significant discrepancies between the job description and the reality of the workplace. Here are some key concerns that potential employees should be aware of: 1. Unfulfilled Promises and Lack of Communication: The job description promised various benefits, commissions, and time-off options, but in reality, it can take an exceedingly long time, often upwards of a year, to even see the potential of these benefits. Furthermore, communication within the company is severely lacking, making it challenging to get any clarification or updates regarding these issues. 2. Unprofessional Behavior by Upper Management: It's disheartening to report that upper management has displayed unprofessional behavior when employees face personal issues, such as calling in sick, dealing with family emergencies, or attending medical appointments. Instead of understanding, some managers speak poorly of employees to their coworkers, which fosters a high school-like atmosphere of pettiness. 3. Lack of Direction and Strategic Adaptation: A significant portion of the workday is spent staring at a blank computer screen, as there is often little to no traffic on the site. This issue is unfairly blamed on employees, rather than addressing the underlying problems. Instead of focusing on improving existing strategies, the company's approach seems to involve creating new sites and adding more manufacturers. Employees are left without clear guidance, feeling as though they are picking up the pieces of a poorly structured company. In conclusion, I believe it's essential for potential employees to consider these issues when evaluating whether to work for this company. The workplace culture and management practices leave much to be desired, and the job description does not align with the reality of the position.
