I have been working at Holiday Inn full-time

    Pros

One of the few companies in this town to offer full time employees benefits.
It's a non-stop and diverse working environment. Loads of friendly people along with repeat guest to keep the job enjoyable.

    Cons

I has truly been the worst place for training someone that is new to the field of hotel servicing. If the salesman is not a team player, they can crash and burn the whole pyramid of service to the ground. The Front Desk Agents on 3-11 pm have got to be set-up to win! It is vital to success and maintaining loyalty of guest at any Hotel.

    Advice to Management

Focus on accurate and repetitive skills training from day one. The GM & AGM that want things to run smoothly from shift to shift will have to be willing to invest the time one on one with new hires. The pay back is a supportive & loyal staff that is Happy!

    Pros

Good overall experience of working in a busy environment.

    Sort your sh*t out
