Pros

I am very grateful for the opportunity to be part of the team. They are very trustworthy, and we have very sincere and open communication. I have never had any issues with communication or salary. They accepted me even knowing that I had another job. I am an immigrant in Ireland, and I rely on that other job to maintain my visa, but being part of this team even as part time is also a great achievement for me, because it is what I truly love to do. I strongly aspire to obtain my citizenship here and, one day, finally be able to work full-time. Thank you for everything — I love being part of the team.

seek another agency, this one does not give good experience

Pros

Most of the positive reviews are fake. Some paid holidays. Remote aspect is cool but can be isolating. Work/life balance is attainable.

Cons

Pay is lower than industry standard. They tax you as an independent contractor, but expect you to act as an employee. The management is not well versed in the PR industry, they advertise themselves as PR, and while they do some elements of PR, its advertising and marketing. They take advantage of the people who work here, do not work here. Its a toxic work environment in its worst days, and a half functioning marketing agency other days. They claim to be understanding, encouraging and supportive but they are not. Their foundation is seriously flawed and their turnover rate is AWFUL. They actively seek pr graduates who are looking for experience and want to be built up, everything you learned in school will not be applied in this agency. Seek out another agency, this will not give you the PR experience that you need. It’s not sustainable to stay at a job that offers no benefits and low pay, and taxes you at the end of every tax season.

They provide ample opportunities for learning and growth, whether it's through workshops or training programs. - I also appreciate Highkey's dedication to work-life balance. The flexible work hours and remote work options have allowed me to achieve a harmonious balance between my professional and personal life. This level of flexibility has not only increased my job satisfaction but has also positively impacted my overall well-being.

Cons

- Fully remote job, at times in person office visits would be nice. However the leadership team has events and pays for the entire organizations airfare for get togethers and team events.
