Pros
Great relationships with shop staff. When it was good it was good.
Cons
The Henderson way of operating their post offices in general. No dedicated post office clerks unless you worked in a large office meaning you relied on post office trained shop staff to cover you breaks, lunch, evenings and weekends. Shop staff were still expected to do shop duties whilst rostered on the post office which resulted in mistakes which would normally be easily avoided if a ridiculous amount of expectation wasn’t placed on shop staff. Having to double check cash after shop staff were on the post office. Irregular breaks often spent doing admin work because it’s the only time you get. Senior management pushing more services on you despite not having adequate facilities/space and staffing.
