Pros

There are nearby shops and close parking.

Cons

Sweat shop, if you do not produce or achieve the numbers game every month, you fear termination. Management is pathetic and the claims department needs a fresh new start of leadership!

Hallmark Claims is a joke

Pros

Casual dress was nice...the TVs in the building were cool, but not much else. The co-workers were nice, and the building was close to plenty of restaurants

Cons

If you like being micro-managed, being barraged by worthless e-mails, and being treated like a number this place is for you....senior management is a joke and the unit managers are puppets. No work-life balance to speak of, and the only 'reward' for good performance is being dumped on with more work. and heaven help you if the President sees you talking to anyone during one of his 17 daily bathroom visits. PTO is sparse and not allowed to carry anything over. Pay is average at best and the benefits are not competitive at all. Overall, wouldn't recommend to anyone unless it's a last resort.

Pros

Salaries are generous, the medical is ok.

Cons

Besides that processes are from 1800s, the culture is backstabbing, hostile, discriminatory mix on top of favoritism, gossip and negativity. It is painful to see that very few are there motivated and engaged to make a difference. The rest are there to collect the paycheck and do not care about accuracy, efficiency or team work, which reflects how bad management is. Training new staff is a nightmare, and bullying is displayed out in the open and not acknowledged by management.
