Pros

Great benefits and an interesting and promising portfolio of innovative products and services.

Cons

Unfortunately, years of reorganization, reductions in force, and outsourcing have led to a significant loss of knowledge for their products and ability to properly support their customers; as well as a divided and non-collaborative working environment.

Pros

Decent pay, some good people, flexible working hours.

Cons

I wouldn't even give this company one star if it was not for some people. Lack of innovation, a terrible track record, and lack of expertise. This company is clearly struggling to come out of its deep recession of failed products and services. Top heavy, unable to attract the best talent, flooded by consultants, and a top management that is completely inept, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Pros

Most employees want to do the right thing and are team players. Influx of talent from established Device Co's helped

Cons

Executive team is totally incompetent, micro-managers, have no idea how to manage priorities and therefore there is no coherent strategy. The company is constantly in a financial crisis but plays coy with the investment community, masking the truth. The deal to buy Pall's business was a total failure, and sales are tanking (+ poor salesforce) - the only thing keeping this company afloat are the cost savings initiatives being driven by Operations. The company has lost numerous Executive members, but the CEO and CFO are still around... Meager bonuses are paid sporadically but only after infighting by the Executives. Despite the poor performance the CEO still pulls down 500k/Qtr in equity bonuses on top of his salary - should be telling. If you are considering coming here, ask employees candidly about issues, and better yet seek out former employees who have moved on to greener pastures
