Nepotism, favouritism. People being hired and promoted based on who they're related to. Or their looks.
Horrible quality of the stock, dirty store. Everything is falling apart and broken.

Manager rude to both staff and customers. Disrespectful, sarcastic, sometimes throwing stuff around and swearing in the presence of customers. I was told many times customers hate coming to the store because of how they were treated by the Manager in the past.
Everyone teaches a different way of doing things.
Big pressure with the monthly mystery shopper visits. We were told many times it's okay to not give 100% to the customer as long as we're absolutely sure they're not a mystery shopper.
Issues with being paid for the overtime.
