In four years, these guys have burned through $10m with no product, no customers, and no revenue. They're just frat boys with rich friends. Their payroll antics should be made into a sit-com.

Dishonest management. Nothing in writing (after a year of employment, I was denied any shares because management never set up accounts for the options offered although I asked several times during my employment for some indication the shares were managed). After working a year, I was told that I didn't qualify for the shares because I took PTO and they considered that not working. Because of the lack of an account or any other documentation about the options, my lawyer said that it would become a big court battle and recommended I walk away. After a year of service, I would expect honesty and an offer of shares. This is the way I'd been treated by other companies, but Gradient management is less than enlightened.
