Pros

Many students are eager to learn.

Cons

The poor communication is undeniable. The favoritism is constant. Honestly, under the cloak of Quakerists the institution is a hotbed of racism and bigotry. Unfortunately too many of the people are well versed in sounding open-minded but they do not care about diversity of opinion and ideals. It’s a shameful place. I still remember just a few years ago a threat was written on a teachers blackboard using the n-word and the school tried to cover it up without alerting the teacher. Too much time had passed and so the teacher could not get help from the police. Beware of the George School. It’s a real sick place.

Pros

Great Students, excellent colleagues, good compensation. Stong values.

Cons

Expectations are very high and the demands on time make it difficult to have a life outside of school (especially if you live in the dorms). Quaker decision-making is not for everyone - very deliberative.
