Pros
Scheduling and working environment is really good
Cons
the manager always push you to do more work
Pros
Fun people in HQ, great people in field operations, potential to make an impact
Cons
Many managers who should not manage people including the top leadership, inefficient processes, nepotism
Pros
-Get to Learn Sushi -Work at Whole Foods -Claims free benefits to FT employees (everyone at my location was denied it...)
Cons
-Low Pay -Horrible District Managers -Company doesn't care about you at all -Expects you to "work fast" nonstop like a machine your entire shift -Claims free Health Care Benefits to full time employees but won't actually give them out -They'll literally hire anyone off the street so be prepared to do 2-3 times more work then them but be paid the same amount -Lots of lazy co-workers who wont do stuff like dishes or even roll sushi, you'll get blamed for not picking up their slack -Expect not to be able to take your 10 minute breaks if you're working with those lazy co-workers -Some co-workers are very unsanitary (ie. never washes hands, change gloves, etc.) and upper management doesn't care -Complaints to upper management don't do anything, they'll just tell you to "deal with it" -They don't take work related injuries seriously, you'll have to threaten workers comp just to get stuff taken care of -If you have any culinary experience, stay far away from this company, as they will completely just use you.
Pros
Our Regional Manager is one of the best I had ever met. He's a cool dude, flexible, level minded, always trying to help out.
Cons
The company itself sucks. They want to use lesser man power to produce more products. And higher ups always wants to make new products but don't want to hire new staffs.
Pros
They teach you a lot
Cons
They micromanage you, Their prejudice, unfairness of rate of pay with individuals and moving up in their organization, and been doing this for so long not many people stay with them for a long time. They let their managers and supervisors get away with evilness towards their employees. Employees would sometimes move from supervisor to supervisor because of how bad their supervisors are, or until they leave the job.
Pros
Meet a few nice people from Whole Foods
Cons
Low pay, lied during my stay with the company about getting a raise in 90 days, had a Whole Foods manager be discriminating towards me, communication sucks, benefits horrible
Pros
Nice community of coworkers who strive to make the best sushi for customers. Manager is also hands on and is easily accessible.
Cons
It can get hectic during rush hours.
Pros
pay a good managers with a flexible schedule. if you do good on sale, you are rewarded,
Cons
depends on who you work with. if other workers did not work well, you have to work for them to run the store.
