Pros
- Little to no micromanaging. - Good colleagues who want to treat their clients well and ethically. - Interesting and complex problems. - Colleagues with deep knowledge of esoteric topics.
Cons
- Company somewhat directionless on how to merge their legacy and newer products. Various projects over the years that never bore fruit. - Management has a habit of vastly underestimating how complicated a given problem is (both marketing and engineering problems). - Old stack (for the product I was working on) with no resources to update it. - Little to no recognition on a company-level of all my hard work. - Very little effort on diversity and inclusion.
