Pros

- Continued amusement reading batched 4-5 star reviews (look at the dates) that were clearly an internal push to get people to make the company look better from the outside. Look, if you're smart enough to read reviews of a company on Glassdoor before joining, you should also be smart enough to see when a bunch of nonsense is being pumped in to make the numbers look less bad. I never planned to leave a review, but this is just sad and I felt obligated to provide a little balance. - Met some smart people, who knew their talents were being wasted so they left, which opened many new doors outside of the company. - If I had to squeeze out another pro, they do have decent salaries (they'd never get anyone in the door otherwise), but the overall benefits are terrible, especially for a company of this size.

Cons

I could write a book, but I won't. I'll just say there are good people here trying to do good work, but unfortunately their efforts are largely being squandered in a money grab by leadership, who will dump them at the drop of a hat. You have been warned.

Pros

One huge pro of working here is my peers. There are many talented, smart individuals working here who are greatly under appreciated.

Cons

No transparency. We’re told one thing like our office is being remodeled then the next thing we know our building is on the market for someone to take over our lease and the HR department frames it in a dishonest way...saying they’re relaxing the remote work policy. Little to no resources for operations. We are constantly loosing people on our teams and not backfilling the positions. Upper management has no clue about the industry and makes decisions based solely on the bottom line and not in the best interest of the company and the employees health. There’s no efficiency in project hand offs or other internal processes.

Your candor is appreciated, and we don’t take your concerns lightly. When changes occur, what can appear counter-productive is the opposite and is at the forefront of growth. Please reach out to FresnoHR@focusvision.com should you want to further voice your concerns.

Pros

Um...not much to be honest. Yeah we have food in our kitchen, but what company doesn't? It's a kitchen. We get a shipment of food every six weeks and the good stuff runs out in three days. I like some of the people here, they're smart. And we have good vacation time. But that's really about it.

Cons

Hmm, well let's see. The morale here SUCKS because our office is boring and we never do any fun events any more. A lot of people recently quit. Management doesn't seem to care the slightest bit about our employees and they never have. Our competitors are gaining on us a lot and we are being disillusioned into thinking otherwise. When I saw comments like, "we’ve got all sorts of cool activities during the day" and "the culture is really fun" in these past three reviews, I felt compelled to call out the nonsense. It's not fair for prospective employees to be lied to like that, and I'm personally sick of this misrepresentation. The writing style makes it seem like it was written by the same exact person too. Do NOT work here. This place has been going down the tubes for a while now and they're starting to feel it, hence the reason to write a bunch of fake reviews and make this place seem better than what it really is.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re so unhappy at Confirmit. We strive to make Confirmit a great place to work because we DO recognize that as a software company, our human capital is truly our greatest asset. I would like to respond to some of the points you make in your review. While HR would love to take credit for the articulate writing in the previous positive reviews, they are the genuine words of our amazing employees – not HR. HR does not, nor have we ever, written the reviews on Glass Door. And I’m sure that most of our team members would agree that we DO have cool activities here – your review states that you are a current employee in our New York office – so you must have missed our recent party at CitiField where we took in a Mets game from a luxury suite (which was also one of the best-received events we’ve EVER done in NY), and you also must not have been attending our regular Happy Hour events that take place in NY at pubs near the office, or the various lunchtime activities. We have very busy Activities Committees in our offices and they do an outstanding job of planning events, all year long, that they believe the entire team will enjoy, and they are very well attended. I’m not sure where you’re getting your news about our results, either; Confirmit is having a record year with huge competitive wins in 2015. Our employee retention rate is also very high and we’re growing so much that we need to renovate our New York office to make room for more! Prospective candidates who are questioning whether or not we are successful should take a look at the press releases on our website or read the analyst reports on our place in the market.
