Pros

My fellow colleagues were Ab Fab!

Cons

I was a long standing employee with several internal promotions, good performance reviews, a clean HR record and a good reputation. I added my work email to my personal phone, which I own and pay for, for convenience and was assisted in this by the IT team. I was not asked to sign any consents related to access to information on this BYOD. When I resigned, the company allegedly reviewed all the work and personal emails on my phone including SMS and my personal browsing history. Untrue negative comments were allegedly spread around about me about things that were 'found'. This allegedly included all my most private communications with my partner, information about our children and their health and family conversations about my sick parents. More than one person told me about this. In my opinion, this is sick and disgusting and made me feel violated. This is the Human Point strategy in action. Don't kid yourself that you are working on anything other than invasive employee monitoring. There is a lot of talk about values from management, but it is empty rhetoric. The internal culture is one of fear, uncertainty, aggression and constant change in my opinion. They have just laid off hundreds of people and are closing offices. You will not get rich here or do any work that makes society better in my opinion.

Pros

Free lunch on fridays.

Cons

Where to begin? Bullying. Over worked, under paid staff. Managers don't care. CEO is seen as god, everyone else is expendable. Totally self deluded company. Promised everything, you get nothing. Extremely high staff turn over. Everything week there's leaving drinks on a friday. The management act like you're lucky to have a job there and don't mind telling you that. There's so so many more but even thinking about the company and how it treats the staff is making me angry, so I'll leave it there.

Pros

Good Money Lots of aws They have enough money to fight through bad decisions.

Cons

Bad technology choices(which is fine) *but* committed to purely for political reasons. Strange tribal nature caused by a few individuals. Leaders prefer to leave decisions to lower level employees and blame them when things go wrong. Lack of direction from leaders. Infighting in the lower levels due to leadership style. Character sniping. Belief that more developers is more better. The entire company is built around a marketing idea that does not exist yet. Strange cult like HR process. They want you to be "All in" and will remove you if you are not.
