Great remote work and balance, but pay is low

Pros
Remote work is great, work/life balance is great, workload isn’t overwhelming most of the year.
Cons
Pay isn’t great, people are able to get away with not doing their work for way too long/too many chances are given to those not doing their job. Also there have been a lot of management changes. The original manager was great. All other managers seem to be too busy to be effective. There is no promotion path for fully remote OS employees.
