Pros

Great work life balance where your wellbeing always comes first. Lots of talented and passionate colleagues. Very user / reader-centric as an organisation that strives to create the highest quality journalism.

Cons

Occasionally a little slow and frustrating for teams to implement and action on great ideas.

Pros

- Pension & bonus schemes - Colleagues are friendly, talented, always available to help/jump on calls/ meet in person / help with your career path - Highly reputable product, interesting projects to work on - Secondment & bootcamp opportunities in other teams of interest - Work-life balance - Decent amount of people who have worked for the FT for a good amount of years.

Cons

- Salary could be better. - Progression framework - there is only one round of promotions per year nowadays. It used to be 3 or 4 times up until 2022/2023 or so, so this is demotivating to high performers who put in the work and aren't given a promotion or salary raise - Mobile tech estate is in a bit of a mess in terms of quality... but hopefully it should get better after a year or so.

Pros

Smart colleagues & excellent product market fit

Cons

Opportunities for progression can be limited as senior colleagues stay with the business for a long time. Tenures of 10-20 years are not uncommon.
