Overworked and undervalued

Pros

Good team, good environment to work in. Ample opportunity to use new technologies. Direct management did his best given the circumstances of the arrogant CEO. I stress again that everyone was doing their best with the hand given to them by the CEO.

Cons

For a small office, with under 12 people, CEO has no appreciation for staff. No concern for employee turnover, and a history of bad practices in the name of profit. Team is forced to work around this, making it quite stressful. I wound up effectively working on 5 separate projects, with top management not allowing any prioritisation, leading to total burnout on my part

A company that expects everything and gives nothing in return

Pros

Cant think of many. Junior staff are good people but regrettably they are suffering due to poor management.

Cons

Management expect staff to work evenings and weekends without providing any time of in lieu. Bonuses were promised once but once the work was done that quickly was forgotten. Expenses can also be a major point of contention. Management also dont seem to know what they're doing. We're constantly having to cover up for their ineptitude.
