Pros

- Not many pros besides the downtime/slow hours at whatever store you are at.

Cons

- Hands off, emotional store-level managers at almost ALL the locations in my district. There seems to be a strong preference for female management that are not emotionally fit for the challenging customer dynamics of the job. This leads to unnecessary frustration and politics manifesting at work because managers cannot regulate their emotions. - The production work is tedious/difficult at times (and the training for it is even worse). Mediocre production equipment for associates to boot - There is a long drawn out "training period" employees must complete before being "placed" at a store that is highly inefficient and wastes TONS of time. - Low store morale at multiple locations. Employees hate coming in to work. - Sometimes district managers will interview you to work at another store so you have no idea what you are getting into. - Some stores are intentionally understaffed post 2020 i have heard from long time associates creating high turnover. - In the district I worked at one of the store managers would send an email out to all stores within the district with "metrics" pertaining to shipping upsales and associate reviews. if your store wasnt "doing numbers", your store would get called out on the email chain making the managers at your location upset which in turn punishes associates. - Unprofessional conduct by many managers that go unchecked due to corporate not caring/being hands off. - In general, they hire unprofessional/non-team oriented people and place them in the wrong roles. Corporate is too consumed with their payscale to care about whats happening at the store level.
