      Sizable engineering layoffs

      Pros

      Generous benefits, good people working there, interesting projects over the years.

      Cons

      No longer interested in doing complex circuit design. Laid off multiple engineering teams in the past couple of months. Not interested in investing in / developing new chips "if they take more than one spin." Little long-term growth potential for employees.

      Very very negative and accusatory environment. No encouragement for creative people to express ideas and improvements.
